Couple: K+K {Portland, OR}
It’s not often that I write much when I blog, the honest truth of it is because I’m usually so quickly onto the next thing, that I overlook it until it feels too much like work to go back and blog past sessions. This time somehow I’m getting to it right away! On this day, I went out with a couple, Kyle and Katrina, for their engagement photos of whom are also dear friends of mine and my family. We started in Forest Park, then walked around Downtown Portland, OR.
There’s just something about smiling faces and a blurry photo that just pulls on my heart strings. Had to keep it.

A quick stop at an interesting building with amazing windows.
Then as the sun began to diminish, a little coffee in downtown Portland, OR.
After dark we decided to play and do a little browsing at Sur La Table.
Below I asked them to try a synchronized jump much like I often see my friend, and fellow photographer, Anna doing in her sessions. Once Katrina convinced Kyle to try it we gave it a go. It’s not as easy as Anna makes it seem! I’m gonna have to work on getting my focus correct next time. But it was fun all the same. Making a fool out of yourself in a store probably wasn’t Kyle’s idea of a fun time, but he was a good sport.
A short walk to Powell’s was required for shenanigans, of course.
And then off for the last images of the night to get some experimenting in.
