Indoor Studio Fine Art Portraits with Burlap Sack {Vancouver, WA} Self-Portraits

The use of a burlap sack and some tulle haphazardly put together last minute one day while practicing Fine Art self portraits is a perfect example of the timeless and elegance of simplicity.

You’ll notice almost immediately that most of my backdrops are black or grey. What I love about this is that it enables a viewer to focus only on the subject. Whether you want to highlight a particular dance pose, celebrate a personal milestone, or simply want to have art made out of you for your walls, my advice will always be that simplicity is best.
