My goal for creating maternity art is to capture images of a woman breathing, and moving, and being, in her body as a person while pregnant. I believe a woman deserves to be photographed in a way that celebrates the miraculous majesty of what happens during pregnancy even when that journey is full of difficulty. My art seeks to capture and represent maternity in a way that is romantic, feminine, whimsical, and powerful.
