My goal is for photographers of all skill levels and genres, to experience what#CommunityOverCompetition actually means. Opening pathways for people to grow their craft by interacting with each other over our common love of photography.

Multiple Non models
The best way to learn how to photograph everyday people is by learning how to direct people who aren't professional models. The second best way, is by having variety. Approximately 5 subjects volunteer their time to pose at each meetup.
Small Group Sizes
By breaking into small groups of approximately 5-8 photographers on site, we all have an opportunity to photograph the subject without elbowing anyone. Introverts are welcome.
Teacher & Learner
We all have something to learn and to contribute. There is no special speaker or instructor at these meetups. We are all both the teacher and the learner.
Take the road less traveled
The photography community can be a dog-eat-dog world. That. Really. Sucks. But the truth is that, unless we make a decision to be the change we want to see, it will continue to be a hostile place for aspiring, new, and even seasoned photographers.
