Fine Art Child Portraiture: A Continuing Story {Vancouver, WA}

I believe a person should never constrain themselves to hiring only one photographer for all of their photography needs. I also know that one of the benefits of hiring the same Fine Art Portrait Photographer for the same type of images over multiple years, allows you to achieve consistency in displaying those images throughout your home on your walls thereby creating an ongoing and cohesive visual continuation story.

In order to achieve this though, you will want to work with a portrait photographer who has:
1) Chosen to specialize in a specific niche of photography (Fine Art Portraiture in my case)
2) Consistently produces visually cohesive work in that niche
3) Produces consistent quality for many years in that niche

You know that staircase wall which has family images from many different photographers with many different styles and you just can’t figure out why you can’t make your staircase look like the ones in the magazines? Wouldn’t it be nice if those priceless memories could be displayed in a visually cohesive way somehow? Wouldn’t it be lovely if you could update your staircase wall with recent images of your kids without having to re-think and completely re-do the layout each time in order to mix in the new ones without making the old ones feel dated? Fine Art Child portraiture has allowed me to provide visual cohesiveness for my repeat clients and I am motivated now more than ever, to assist you in getting those images printed and up on your walls.

If continuation stories are something you’re interested in creating with me, send me a message and ask about a “continuation story and/or subscription payment options.” On a trial basis in 2022 I am opening up my books for subscription-based Continuation Stories where clients can book 3 future sessions to space out and book evenly between 12 months and pay via a monthly subscription payment plan. Clients who choose this option will receive a $200 credit toward their wall art collection.

Send me a message and ask about a Continuation Story and subscription payment plan so you can be well on your way toward adding visually cohesive art work of your children to your walls year after year.

Images over the years…

What makes a group of images feel visually cohesive is not always about what exactly “matches” but instead what “goes.” I’ll often help people choose what to wear for a session with me based on what “goes” as apposed to items that are “matchy-matchy” in nature and the same goes for the images I create for Continuing Stories. This is what you want for those staircase photos. Images that go with your decor instead of competing against it. This allows instead for your memories to be represented in a way that also beautifully accents your home.
